Mariana Aldrete

Mariana Aldrete holds a Ph.D. in Media, Communication, and Culture from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. She was a visiting researcher from 2018 to 2019 at the Amsterdam School of Communication Research (ASCoR) at Amsterdam University. Her research focuses on media analysis and media effects on the topics of femicide, gender violence, migration, and social movements, by using a mixed-method approach.
